How Hearthside started

Hearthside began in 2014 as a Saturday stall at the Millbrook farmers market, run out of a rented church kitchen. Two years and a lot of early mornings later we took over the old hardware store on Mill Street, built a brick oven in the back, and opened the doors.

We are still small on purpose. Eight of us bake, serve and deliver. We know most customers by name and most of our farmers by their first name.
